He was responsible for hiring and training all floor personnel, monitoring the each market maker’s intra-Day and inter-day risk profile and hedging the PHLX group’s overnight risk. In addition to managing the firm’s floor trading operation, Greg He was a market maker for Dell Computer Options, which is one of the most popular equity options in the country. He traded Dell Computer Options We worked with Ron Ianieri to bring a crowd of market makers from 6 to 100. Greg’s success with Rockrimmon Securities’ PHLX market makers helped lay the groundwork for the establishment of an Equity Options Specialist unit. After a management separation, Rockrimmon Securities was merged with JAS Securities and Gateway Partners to become a market-making firm. Gateway Partners is a specialist unit in PHLX options. JAS Securities’ Partners asked Greg To supervise an off-Floor trading desk opened in late 1999, while the PHLX Floor is still being operated. Trading Unit.
