Sidra Levi Stone Born in Brooklyn, New York. She was raised in Brooklyn, New York. and It was hoped that she would make a contribution to the world.
SidraBarnard College’s State Scholarship program was a huge influence on Judith’s development as an independent woman. Barnard College was there even during the nineteens.-Women were encouraged to pursue advanced degrees in the 50s and 60s by their parents. and Prepare for a career. She was awarded her B.A. She received her B.A. in 1957 with honors from Barnard andThat September, she was married and She moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where she started her Ph.D. Studies at the University of Maryland.
Sidra In 1960, she moved to Washington, D.C., where she received her Ph.D. and became a community mental healthcare clinical psychologist. and Lived the Camelot Years with all the excitement. Dr. Stone (Dr. Winkelman was then back in New York and worked as a Clinical Psychologist for the Veterans Administration and Elizabeth was her first child. Claudia gave birth to her second daughter Elizabeth. After Claudia’s birth, Claudia became a Lincoln Center for Psychotherapy psychotherapist so she could continue her practice.-Time as a psychotherapist and You can also enjoy motherhood.
In 1967, the “Summer of Love”, Sidra With her family, she moved to Los Angeles. She continued her private practice. andIn 1968, she became the psychologist at Hamburger Home, a shelter for teenage girls. Recha was her third child. She was born in 1971. and In 1972, became the Executive Director at Hamburger Home.
With great enthusiasm Sidra The home was transformed into a fully functional space.-Residential treatment facility for adolescents with acting out girls. This center offers holistic treatment methods to this challenging but exciting population. She established a therapy program which combines behavior modification techniques and intensive individual treatment. and Group psychotherapy was based on psychoanalytic principles. The program was further enhanced by her addition of an on-Grounds High School, an art therapist, a course in creative writing, theater games and yoga, as well as attention to nutrition aspects of life. and Sport activities
