Stuart Okorofsky’s Personal Message

“My path to EasyLanguage Programming may seem complicated.

I received a Computer Science degree from SUNY Buffalo in 1974. We used punch cards to get around the limitations of PCs at that time. Mainframes occupied entire buildings. to You could not write computer programs without the Internet.

After graduating, I was a programmer at McDonnell Douglas. I was not challenged by corporate life so I quit to pursue a different career.

I received a piece from Ken Roberts in the 1990s regarding futures trading. It fascinated me and I took his course. Trading was my passion.

I saw a TradeStation Demo at a trading seminar, purchased the software, and started writing code. Despite the fact that I hadn’t programmed in 20 years, it came back to me very quickly. Programming is a way to think and I have always been proficient at it.

Only a handful were available at that time. TradeStation Programmers are my passion so I started creating programs for others. I had my own full-time business before I knew it. I quickly gained so many clients, I stopped trading and transitioned from my other business to another. to program TradeStation Full time.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve written indicators and strategies for hundreds and hundreds of clients. I have clients I code for that I have known since the beginning of my career. Larry Connors, one of them.
