It’s been years since I felt that deep hole in my soul. It was almost like I was invisible To the rest of the globe.

Girls acted like I wasn’t even there. Guys pretty much didn’t see me as a threat and left me alone.

As a child, I dreamed of becoming somebody. Somebody special. Someone special. I wanted to be sought-after. I wanted to feel wanted.

To get my attention, I tried many things.

Most didn’t work. Many of them failed.

But here’s what I figured out along the way:

After all of that said, I now have what I call “the long way around the barn.”

And that’s to get good at something. You can master it. Then there’s the work of getting out there and making your payments. This is how you become well-known and respected.

 

Do it! Then you’ll have all the fame, fortune and success you desire. People will flock to your cause. It’s just a matter of time.

One day, I managed to get up the courage to walk up to her and tell her., “Would you like to get a drink with me this weekend?”

My voice cracked as I spoke it. I felt insecure and fearful. Do you ever feel that way about a beautiful girl.

She had been smiling but now… she looked like she’d seen a ghost.

Apologizing, she started, “Umm, that’s really sweet of you Jason…umm, I think I’m busy with my family this weekend but thanks.”

That rejection hurt me more than I can bear to this day.  However, the same girl saw me again a few decades later. on video…

She saw the truth. Different.

She saw my mug. CharismaMy. powerMy. Have confidence.

She Couldn’t BELIEVE Her eyes. Or

How badly she wanted to me now. 

She called me on her cell phone, amused. I texted back.

Her message spoke about how stunned She was.

She couldn’t believe I’d become a star, a millionaire, a leader.

Recognize this, friend.
