Part used-car salesman, part East European mentalist, Boris Pocus To my knowledge, this is the first lecture DVD that features a fictional character. Channeled By Jay Sankey, Boris The 16 mental effects are taught in an accent that makes it sound like there are just enough countries to offend everyone.
It’s funny. Yes. From the beginning credits, I was a laughing machine. What’s really interesting about this collection are the tricks themselves. They are goodie-Many mental magic tricks are simple and require very little to no sleight.-This is-hand.
Highlights include “Perfect Time,” Self-employment-A working effect where the magician accurately predicts the time that a spectator picks randomly. Boris says, “This one ees like acid down their pants!”); “Lottery”, a mind-Buster, in which the magician predicts five cards from five spectators and also the order in which they will end-up in after the packet is mixed. “Distant Relations,” A billet that is attractively designed-Switch routine in which the magician guesses the name of someone who is significant to the spectator. “Speechless,” This clever effect is where the magician can foretell any object that a spectator may choose to be mentally. “True Believer,” Perhaps the most amazing trick on DVD is the one in which you can choose a key from a bag and open the lock.

It is important to mention that mentalists, mainly, often draw the distinction between “mental magic” (Like the tricks on this DVD) “mentalism” (A more strict approach to reading thoughts and affecting things with the mind). This DVD is more interesting to mentalists than magicians, so I don’t think it will matter much.
