She has been working in nursing for over 22 year. Sandra The preferred Diabetes Specialist for the largest primary-care office in Montgomery County Ohio. South Dayton is managed by him. Diabetes Nutrition Center. The practice has been treating approximately 80% diabetes patients for nine years.
Sandra Participated in writing and creating four National recognition diabetes programs (Joslin). Diabetes Center in Centerville Ohio, Montgomery County Health Department Diabetes Dayton and Good Samaritan Hospital. Additionally, she is a certified pump trainer and provides individual insulin training to patients.
Marlisa Brown, MS, RD, CDE, CDN, Certified Registered Dietitian Diabetes Chef, Author, International Speaker, Author and Author “Gluten-Free, Hassle- Free”And “easy, gluten-free”. She has more than 19 year’s experience in the field of nutrition, and over 30 years culinary experience. Her professional awards include the 2011 D.C.E. American Dietetic Association; “Diabetes Educator of The Year”, 2009, Long Island Dietetic Association; “Dietitian of the Year”, 2000, American Dietetic Association; “Emerging Dietetic Leader”Long Island Press. “Best Nutritionist” and The 1994 Long Island University’s “Community Service Award”. Marlisa Total Wellness Inc. is her nutritional consulting business. She works with more than 50 patients each week.
