Joe Kenn, a 25-year veteran of coaching at the College, High School and Professional levels, is the most decorated strength and condition coach in the history the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

McKnight After a six-year stint at Iowa State, he moved to Houston. McKnight She has also been a leader at Rice and Louisiana Tech.
During his coaching career, he worked with numerous athletes that earned roster spots for the NFL. McKnight His degree was awarded in 2001 by Missouri Southern as a Division II All American Offensive Guard Lineman.

Session 1 – The Houston Cougars Summer Program
Integrating Speed, Agility, and Conditioning through a Tier Based Strength Training program

Additionally, he will talk about how he integrates strength training plans based on tier systems into his speed, agility, conditioning and field drills to maximize both the positives of each.
Session 2: R7 Training Approach

Every coach’s goal is to create a systematic, streamline approach to program design. A system for program design will ensure that you consistently get better results with every program that you write.
The R7 is used throughout the country in facilities because it provides an amplification. “fill in the blanks” A systematic approach to program development that covers all bases for each program. This simple, yet powerful programming strategy will ensure that you and your athletes have the best possible chance of success.

Session 4: Core and Integrated Breath Training

Everybody loves to talk about core training, even their mothers.
But is core training necessary? “circuits” Are you really looking for all the things you need?
And furthermore, could it be that you’re doing all the right exercises, but doing them in the wrong fashion?
Smart core training should be a key component of your program. It unites the upper and the lower halves of your body.
These are your hands-Session Mike It will cover how to integrate proper breathing in your core training to create stronger, more powerful athletes who are also less likely to be injured.
Session 5: Block Zero Program

Coaches, and in many cases parents, have the greatest concerns about how their children will be exposed to an organized training program.
It is important to understand the development process and maturation of athletes, especially in this age of fast progress. Coach Kenn will discuss the fundamentals of setting up a new developmental program for your athletes.

Session 6 – The Truth About Single-Leg Training
