Alfred Adler, an Austrian psychologist introduced the term. Its meaning was: “a person’s basic character as established early in childhood”.
Take, for instance, his 1929 book “The Case of Miss R.”. Lifestyle as a broad concept “way or style of living” Since 1961, it has been documented.
Lifestyle can be described as a combination of intangible and tangible factors.
The demographic variables that are referred to as tangible factors, i.e. an individual’s demographic profile,
whereas intangible factors concern the psychological aspects of an individual such as personal values, preferences, and outlooks.
Rural life is different from urban living.
Even within a city, it is important to be in the right place.
The environment in which one lives determines what lifestyles are available to him.
to that person due to differences between various neighborhoods’ degrees of affluence and proximity to natural and cultural environments.
