I created my first online course in 2016, back when I was just 16. I had taken several online courses before (some useful, some not so much) and I knew that I had valuable knowledge that would help people, and then…
I backed out.
I was afraid that no one would purchase my course, and that it would be a waste of time. I was scared that people wouldn’t get anything out of it and it might make me look bad. I was scared it wasn’t going to be as good as some of the other courses that already existed teaching similar things.
Every time I tried to get started, I was unsuccessful.
A mentor of mine helped me launch my company at the end 2017 and I regret not having done so sooner.
It wasn’t a huge launch to begin with, but it was the push I needed to keep going. Fast forward to today, I’ve created and launched over ten online courses that have earned about $4.5m dollars:

Here’s the path you will follow inside Heroic Online Courses:
Module 1: Nail Your Niche
Whether you already have a niche selected or not (and whether you have an audience already or not) we’re going to make sure you’re targeting the right kind of person for your course.
How do we do it? You need to get into the heads of your target audience. It sounds complicated, but it’s not. In just a few steps, you can make it look easy.-minute lessons, and you’ll be on your way to success, right from the start.
The end: You will have your course title, tagline and who your course is for.
Did I mention the course is designed to make learning easy? Most of the video lessons, along with the corresponding action items, aren’t very long.
The course is completed in bite-sized chunks.-You learn in bite-sized pieces and each lesson makes you a little more progress. This allows you to feel calm and focused, so you don’t feel overwhelmed.
Module 2: Make your Outline
We work together to create course materials that will ensure students success.
The key to making the course effective and not overwhelming is simplicity. This requires you to be able to identify what should and shouldn’t be included. Don’t worry, I’ll walk you through the process so you’ll know exactly what to put in your course, and in what order.
The end: Your course will be clearly outlined.
Module 3: Making Your Sales Page
Yes, I can help with marketing. It starts with exercises that relate to building your sales pages.
We go through your course sales page content. This includes what you are offering, pricing, and everything that you need to convert sales.
This will help you identify any lessons that your students might want. It is best to do it at this stage of the process and work through each piece individually (headline, offer price, testimonials etc.). This will ensure that you make progress and actually get it done.
The end: Your sales page will be created.
Module 4: Build a Production & Launch Plan
A launch strategy is like a diet—there are lots of ways to do it, but not all methods work for everybody. I’ll share with you a number of different options that you can choose from to launch your course and come up with a plan.
There are many strategies to help your business get where it needs to be. Right now. Is it possible to start from zero, even with no audience? There is a strategy that will work for you. Are you a large email list owner and want to launch a massive campaign? There are many strategies that can help you.
The end: You will have a plan that works for you for course launch strategy.
Module 5: The right mindset before you step into the Arena
In order to make this work, you’ll have to overcome the biggest challenge of all—your own mindset.
Trust me, I’ve had my fair share of negative thoughts about my courses as I was creating and launching them—every single one of them—however; we’ll be confronting these fears head on so that you don’t waste the amazing work you will have done up to this point, and you can launch with confidence and poise!
The end: You will learn how to stay on the right track and set yourself up for success so you can start your journey with confidence.
Module 6: How to Film & Create Your Course
Caleb, my videographer, and I worked together to create this section so that anyone can film and record a course that works, regardless of their budget.
So no, you don’t need a huge production studio or to hire a film crew (although we do talk about that). But you can definitely use what you have around you to film something of quality that gets the job done, and supports the content that you’ll be creating.
I’ll also make sure you know exactly what to expect when uploading your videos and creating your actual coursework for your students. You don’t have to be afraid the first time. But you can always look at me and see someone doing it.
The end: There are many techniques that you can use to create course materials within your budget.
