It was quite a while until I gave up completely on them. “normal” There are many ways to do things.
But, I finally gave up.
The majority of the “pros” in this field needlessly complicate the entire process, to make it mystical and very expensive, so they make a lot of money — whether their clients do or not. Everything they know is more valuable to them than it would be to you or me.
I decided to give up on them.
I was unable to find my own path. I tried this idea and another. Looking for people who had received a lot press coverage and made money doing it. Talking to media people about what I’d been doing wrong. I was looking for the FORMULA to break through the clutter and get the media to pay more attention to me.

I began to master the parts of my job early. SystemIt was difficult and slow work. Typesetting news releases was necessary. Once the printer had completed the job, they were to put the envelopes in the mail, address them, buy postage, and then schlep the mail to the post office. Unfortunately, many news releases didn’t make it to the post office because they were being screened in the mailrooms.
However, technology has made all this possible.
First, you can easily create a press release from your desk. You’ve probably got a PC and some kind of simple word processing software (maybe MS Word?). You can now sit down with this software and create a professional, attention-grabbing presentation.-Not only for the other, but also for commanding news releases “tools” In minutes, I can use and teach.
When the occasion demands it, it’s easy to personalize the individual releases. It’s also easy to store it all and make small changes easily and instantly.

What you can get for free with my methods
I get chills when I see the amount of money that is being wasted on expensive advertising. It makes my skin crawl to write checks for thousands, if not tens of millions of dollars, for advertising in magazines. I would be happy to pay half the price if I could.-hours on TV for $20,000 to $50,000 each, I’d never get a night’s sleep. Even spending $500.00 on a Val could be enough to get me to sleep.-Pak coupon or newspaper ad from one town bug me. I like free better.
But being a cheapskate really isn’t the issue here.
Here’s what IS important: stories about you in the media are FAR more believable and powerful and attractive than any ads you could possibly run. Interviewing you on a radio program is far more credible than running an ad.

And here’s another little SECRET: right now, if you “fake” an article – write it yourself and print copies that look like it appeared in a publication – and use those in mailings or as hand-You could end up in legal trouble for outs and other reasons. These things are considered FRAUDULENT by the Federal Trade Commission. However, you can reprint an article that you are real to and has actually appeared elsewhere. A reprint is a great addition to a direct.-A great trade show or mail campaign-A great window sign that can be blown up large or out.
The bottom line is, however, that paid advertising simply cannot compete with free publicity.
For example, I knew a business consultant who advertised his services month after month in an airline magazine. For a small ad, I spent about $3,000 per month. It was not uncommon to get a few leads every month. The whole thing barely made a profit. One month later, the same magazine published a feature article about him and his unique methods. It was all thanks to a simple FAX. He received over 200 inquiries from that article and was able to do more business than he did in two years of paid advertisement.
