MEET KATE WOODMAN
Kate Woodman was raised in Darmstadt (Germany) and now calls Portland, Oregon, her home. Kate is a structural engineer by trade and discovered her passion for photography while researching earthquake damage in New Zealand in 2011. The compulsion to record the environment evolved into a passion for narrative storytelling, often with a conceptual twist. Her engineering background is a great asset to her photography. She has a keen eye for balance and detail, and can also bring creativity to solving the technical challenges of creating images.
