How the Class Works
Lessons
Register for P.E.T. Positive Emotional TensionYou will be sent a link to the class resource page. Each week, a new lesson is added to the class page after the course starts. Lessons will most likely be delivered in writing. “lecture,” You will be able download and print the lessons as well as homework from this page. You will also find audio and video recordings to supplement the lessons.
These lessons will provide information that will help you better understand the subject. These lessons will help you to apply the information in a practical, manageable way to your daily life. Each class will include discussion questions that encourage reflection and interaction between classmates on the internet forum. The homework assignments will allow you to apply the information in your daily life.
Forums for Class Discussion
Each lesson will have a discussion section on the class resource page, where students can post their questions and assignments. Class members will be encouraged to read and respond to each other’s posts.
The course will have a strong component in the form of mutual support, modeling and accountability. Many people fail to realize that they can change their lives by trying to do it on their own, with a limited number of tools. You will find that you are not the only one dealing with your problems online. They will continue to build on the idea of “what one man can do, another man can do.”
Class members will have access to the online forums for 12 months after they start, so that they can support one another and keep in touch long after the class ends.
Instructor Q&A Forum
The class will also have an online Q&A forum where class members can ask Dr. Glover Questions related to the lessons Dr. Glover Regular office hours will be held at least two times per week. He will answer these questions.
Live Q&A Sessions
The course will include a live, interactive discussion with Dr. Glover. The Q&A session will last about an hour and will provide a forum for asking any question relating to the course. The class resource page will post the date and time. You can post questions ahead of time if you are unable to attend the session. The Q&A session will be recorded and posted in the class library.
Class Library
The class will have a library in which Dr. Glover Podcasts, videos, podcasts, interviews, book suggestions, article links and more will all be posted on the topic. This useful library will assist class members in applying course information to their lives and putting their intentions into practice.
