Scott Jeffrey – Centering MasterWork
You probably already know the importance of Inner Work if you are reading this.
This means that you want to get to understand yourself.
You want to…
However, even if meditation is done every day, it’s likely that you won’t make as much progress as you might wish.
Why?
Transpersonal psychology and Eastern teachings offer an alternative answer: We aren’t able to see ourselves objectively.
Without Clear self-ObservationWe don’t have any point of reference or guidepost.
Without self-observation: We lack the ability to bring what isn’t conscious into conscious awareness.
What’s the secret to cultivating your self-worth?-observation?
It is found in an ancient principle known as The Center.
What happens if your center isn’t there?
These are the clear signs you are out of your Center
Throughout the day, you …
In your mental and emotional state, you …
In the evening, you …
It seems that most of these signs are well-known to us all.
Are you out of center?
Reality is that most people live in the Center for the majority of their lives.
The search for happiness is a result of being outside of the Center.
We are determined to achieve success. “build self-confidence” This is largely due to the fact that our Center is elusive.
Another sign that you are out of control is:
- Feelings of overwhelm
- Laziness
- Procrastination
- Rumination
- Self-criticism
When we’re out of Center, we don’t trust ourselves. Gurus and thought leaders “experts,” We lack inner guidance and authority, so others assume the role of authority figures.
And the truth is, when you’re not in the Center, you can’t trust yourself because you can’t connect with your instincts, your true feelings, or the “inner truth” Within you.
The Center is the source of all inner contentment. When we don’t abide there, we feel impoverished. This makes it difficult to see the future and ruminate on the past.
We believe that the key to success lies in a better job and a more fulfilling relationship.
Certainly, these things will satisfy my needs, we tell ourselves.
But, there is something within us that can sense this self.-deception.
When you’re out of the Center, fear, anger, and shame rule you.
What does centering do?
Moving towards your Center is possible by:
Increase self-esteem-awareness
You can increase your emotional self-esteem-Regulating
Recharge your mental power
So you can increase your focus and attention
Relax and let go of stress.
So you can be relaxed and not make any mistakes
Activate superior cognitive functioning
So you can make informed decisions
Relax and get rid of all distractions
You can make the most of what you do so that you can fully enjoy it
These are just a few of the amazing benefits of being a member of your Center.
Perhaps the most compelling thing is that you’ll find that you’re more “okay” Be kind to yourself. While this might not sound like much, I’ve found it to be worth more than anything else.
The Center, however, can be difficult to find.
- The challenge is that we spend most of our time out of Center.
- Actually, our environment can actually reinforce being out-of-Center.
- We can, however, learn to abide at the Center in almost all conditions.
- That is, centering is a kind of skill.
- It is possible to train your brain to recognize when you are out of Center.
- To return to your Center, you will need to follow certain principles and procedures.
- You can reach your Center more easily and frequently with practice.
