This unit introduces students the basics of management and financial accounting from the point of view of a business manager. This unit focuses on the critical evaluation of financial information in financial statements, and the application of key cost- and management accounting techniques in daily business decisions. This unit takes a managerial and analytic approach to financial management. This unit will teach students the principles of financial reporting, interpretation, and how to apply these principles in business practice. Students will gain a better understanding and interpretation ability of company’s cash-Profit, flows and liquidity, asset classes, profitability, operating efficiency, and liquidity.
