What is outsourcing? This module will explain each model, show where we have had the most success and highlight the places where we can hire different skillsets. There are many widely known outsourcing sites….and jumping into them without the information we cover is a surefire way to lose a lot of time and money.

ii. Finding Talent

How do you find the person who will make your ideas a reality? It’s not easy….but it doesn’t have to be as difficult as it is for most people. We have a proven and trusted system that will help you get the best people, within your budget. We have a full arsenal of tips and tricks we employ in every project that make sure that once we do our launch, even if it didn’t do as well as expected, we have lots of extra profit-wells to tap into without doing any extra work. Consider your exit strategy and potential sale of the software on day one. You won’t have to worry about getting it ready on the day that you sell. Even if you don’t plan this or foresee it, it is an essential step and we cover everything you must do.

Module 3.5 Design Considerations

Of course, a ninja developer is not necessarily a great designer. Both have very different skill sets and many people expect a programmer to be able to do all things. We show you where to look for the one-person teams that can do everything. We cover every aspect of each project from the design perspective, so you don’t have to be limited.

i. UX, User Interface, Branding

We explain what UX is, what UI is and where branding comes into play inside your actual app (it’s more than just a logo)

Part 4: Manage it

You’ve done your research and preparation, you’ve decided what you want and how it is going to be built. Now it’s time to relax. Nope! No! “light touch” Management, or it could be daily “in the trenches” The team keeps an eye on everything, as well as the other members. Here we cover all the models, why they work and when they won’t work…and even when choosing the wrong one will destroy your project.

i. Development – Testing – Beta – Production: you’ve probably heard of Beta befOdere and heard people mention “development” or “test versions”. Now you’re ready to start developing software. This doesn’t need to be filled with programmer jargon, but it does need to be a smooth simple process you can keep a handle on. This module will explain the various phases and how they can kill your project, customer relationships and partnerships.

Your app is built, the developer is ready to hand it over….where do you put it? You can get a $10/month shared hosting plan. You don’t want to go bankrupt!

 

We show you all the hosting options available and explain how to set them up so your business can grow. Although technology has improved, there are still many dead-end deals that can trap you. Follow our steps to save a lot of money (including how we received a $3,000 refund by one the biggest hosts in the industry).

Part 5: Delivery & acceptance

Your app is built, the developer says it is good to go….now you have to apply some unpredictability to the mix to see if it stands up. This is delivery and acceptance testing. I will show you how I do it. You won’t be left with a product that has bugs and a developer who has gone on to the next thing.
