Description:
Many of our children are unable or unwilling to take tests that require attention and follow instructions. These children might have ADHD, ADD, or ASD. But, it is important to recognize any deficits that may be hindering their ability to learn, engage in family activities, or foster friendships.
You will learn more about sensory processing and improve your ability to work with children.
This workshop will teach you how to identify deficits that have a sensory integration base and how to use treatment techniques to improve your child’s quality of life every day. This workshop will help you identify sensory behaviors and determine the underlying sensory systems that may be contributing. You will also learn how to plan treatment strategies for children to make them more involved in school, home, and community activities. Finally, practice documentation.
