Her research is well-known and includes studies on the predictors of success in couple therapy, interventions for traumatized couples, forgiveness, and other topics.
Dr. Sue Johnson She is the director of the International Center for Excellence in Emo Focused Therapy (ICEFT) and the Distinguished Research Prof at Alliant University in San Diego. In addition, she is a professor of clinical psychology at University of Ottawa. She consults with Veterans Affairs, Veterans Affairs, Canada and the New York City Fire Department on EFT.
