Many talented and caring business professionals are still struggling to make ends meet, despite their hard work. Why? It is because passion and the desire for helping others are not enough to create financial stability. To thrive in this fast-paced world, you need to have strong business skills.-changing economy.
My goal when I began was to make the world better. I was stunned when I heard three words. âBills, taxes, overhead!â While I loved to help others, I also had to pay rent and food. As I grew up, I had to also support others financially. I needed a better way to grow my business, but I didnât want to take high-These courses taught you how to sell aggressively in pressure situations.
So, I began to investigate how others I admire had managed to grow their businesses. It’s not necessary to reinvent the wheel. I wanted the best strategies in the fastest amount of time because I wasnât getting any younger and I needed to start earning serious cash now!
It was amazing what I found! They were exactly the opposite of high-achieving.-pressured,âused car salesmen.â They werenât using slick, manipulative techniques to make customers buy their stuff. They were not aggressive. They had a shared set of beliefs about money and selling that I hadnât heard before. They had specific systems for connecting with others and moving through the sales process. This created incredible close rates and converted customers into friends.
After further investigation, I discovered that the top earners had created a system. âselling through servingâ that 80% of business people still arenât using! They were able to master persuasion strategies that led to WIN-Situations that win. I used to think persuasion meant manipulating someone, but it doesnât. Manipulation can be defined as acting in your own best interests. Persuasion is the art of identifying what others want and delivering it through your products/services in a way which creates success for you.
Why isnât everyone using these insights? The main reason they don’t use these strategies is that they are not aware of them. It is a sad truth that most salespeople don’t take the time to learn. They are dependent on their outgoing personalities or the brand they represent.
Instead of wasting your time training on a proven method for converting prospects to high-value customers, you should instead train yourself.-Customers who are valued, many just keep going.
EGO is the second reason. Instead of admitting that they could use some help people allow their pride and insecurity to get in the path. A 7-I heard a figure network marketer say something that has stuck with my since then. âCheck your Ego with your bank account!â This really hurt at the time. My Ego wanted me to think that I already knew all this stuff so I really didnât need it. Another bill would then appear reminding me that I may have.
