Tomayia Colvin Since 2005, she has been photographing weddings and seniors in high school. She also has more than 10 years experience as a teacher. She is an instructor at WPPI and an educator for Imaging USA, United, hosted by Showit, as well as other photo education platforms.

She has been featured in articles published in Professional Photography Magazine and Rangefinder Magazine, ShootProof Magazine, ShootProof Magazine, ShootProof Magazine, Black Enterprise, local newspapers, as well as radio stations in the Houston area.

Tomayia Is the author of two best-selling children’s books, Mya’s Big Adventures: Career Day and The Adventure of Jaxon Maxwell: Jaxon Saves Christmas. She is also the creator of Tomayia Colvin Education, an online community of photographers created to empower people of color, the LGBTQ+ community and provide a safe haven for inclusion and diversity.

Tomayia He is currently a doctoral student in educational leadership at Houston Baptist University.
