Be sensory and self-aware-regulation expert, Varleisha GibbsOTR/L, OTD, OTR/L. Learn various sensory strategies, techniques, equipment, and tools to help children with ASD and ADHD. To connect neuroanatomy and practice, we will review the underlying neurological components. You will be able to see how equipment is used in a sensory clinic and learn which types you should buy. Videos of children at a sensory clinic will demonstrate how to correctly use equipment and what to do if it isn’t.
The neurological background will be highlighted in relation to particular treatment methods. Evidence-Revision of current treatments and theories will also include evidence-based practice. There are several treatment options that can be used to treat cancer.-Movement, vision, and based-Based therapies
