“How to generate huge online profits in less than four weeks using just one niche ideas source”
Written by Glen & Diggy
In the last 24 months we’ve generated over $1.5m in online revenue by being the first to enter industries that nobody else has caught onto.
Here’s our six-step method to help you find those ideas. They are profitable even when they are under Four weeks.
Step 1: Find website ideas that have received funding
Funding for a website idea means that it has two things:
1) A person believes enough in the idea to pitch it to venture capitalists.
2) Venture capitalists believe enough in it to invest their money.
That’s not a terrible combination.
I have many sources that I use to discover new industries to be dominant. But monitoring is the most important thing. Rounds of funding It is my favorite.
CrunchBase.com, is the website I use.
This week, I discovered a brand new website that has received a lot of attention. Funding of $1m That targets a niche that I could very successfully capitalize on.
Nominated CoinTentThey want to help publishers ‘paywall’ Their site, or individual pieces of content through microtransactions.
It’s a big niche.
The New York Times You can paywall their site and get more than 910,000 active subscribers. Their subscription revenue is far greater than advertising sales.
The UK’s Sun Newspaper just this month adopted a similar model, only allowing access to their site for paying subscribers.
Monitoring funding rounds frequently often means you can find great ideas that have received a lot of money yet haven’t even launched.
Just having the idea of course is not enough, you need to…
Step 2: Select an angle that makes marketing easier Simple as that
If you scroll through Crunchbase long enough I’m sure you’ll find at least one project that has been invested in that sounds interesting to you.
The last month of funding rounds has shown more than 100 different companies Receiving crazy amounts of cash
This is only one source.
Of course, we aren’t here to steal other people’s ideas.
That’s not just because I’m trying to be a morally ethical.
It’s actually because the Angle These people want to make a difference in the entrepreneurial world. Angle That’s what I would do with it.
I wouldn’t follow the Cointent model because I have no desire to become a payment processor.
You know, branding is not enough to make people trust you when it comes to payments. I guess that’s why they needed that $1m.
I love microtransactions.
I would rather handle my own payments than integrate with companies like Stripe, Paypal and Stripe. There is also the option to add your own merchant accounts.
That’s not enough though; there are people who offer this kind of solution already.
You need to go even further.
In my experience…
It is easy to position any product or service idea in a Profitable way It is important to consider what you would like from it.
“Scratch your own itch”They say it.
This is how you think. Automatically niche down You will find people just like you, which allows you to connect with your target market in the most effective way Simple as that.
“Niching down” Venture Beat predicts Cointent’s future success.
“However, there’s lots of room for competition from other digital wallets, should they choose to jump into the space. PayPal especially seems primed for this kind of utility. [..] That may allow CoinTent to move in on a niche market.”
If you want to create a site for Doomsday Preppers (which is worth billions), then you should just concentrate on the angle that you believe the world will end from.
Forget about the general stuff. The Talk about the possible disaster and then OWN it.
Maybe you’re interested in nutrition but what really excites you is developments in nootropics and congnitive enhancement pills. You should be the one-stop-shop for all things nutrition. Angle.
Ironically, everyone believes that a small piece of a large pie is the best online model. However, my experience has taught me to take a big slice of an even smaller one..
My online story shows me how important choosing the right angle is, especially when it comes to launching a product online.
My Own $350,000 “Overnight Success”
(And how I totally failed when trying to duplicate it)
In the last several years, I have launched two software products.
Each one took approximately $6,000 to create.
Both bloggers are targeted.
Both were marketed to the same audience.
You can also easily customize any element of your blog, including your opt-in forms or most popular posts.
Yet one of them stayed on the top of Clickbank’s web design category for 3 years and generated more than $350,000 in revenue while the other barely made back the cost of development.
Crazy, right?!
Not if you realize the power of the Angle you take.
I made a mistake with the second product.
I was able to use the opt-in form plugin. Solving a problem People had. There was no way to add opt-in pages to your blog without customising it.
I created the popular-posts plugin to give people an easy way to share their posts. A more appealing solution To do something they already could.
The angle was wrong and it showed in the sales.
Here’s something that is actually crazy: If I launched this product today, it would be a disaster.
The reason may be surprising to you.
It’s certainly not because people don’t want to collect email addresses any more. I have focused my whole attention on collecting your email addresses to share the previously free niche ideas.
I could have sent those 20,000+ words to anyone, but I chose people from an email list.
It is possible to build an email list. hugely Important for most online businesses trying to generate real revenue.
But, how we collect email addresses has changed It is amazing
I made it possible for people to add opt-in boxes to individual blogs or their sidebar when I launched OptinSkin.
These are the most common places you’ll see opt-in forms.
Pop-up plugins are available to collect email addresses.
You can add plugins to bars that will stick to your website’s top and collect emails.
Plugins to allow you to opt-in are located at the right hand side of the article when you scroll down.
Heck, there’s even a service from BounceExchange – which a number of big blogs use – that Starts at $5,995 per Month The primary feature of the site pops up and asks if you would like to receive a gift. If yes, then two buttons with huge words appear. “Yes” Or “No”. Click Yes, and you’ll see an opt-in form.
How would I approach Cointent??
My focus would be on micro transactions for specific pieces of content, but I would target it towards people running email list campaigns. So every few emails of value you send one email that they would have to pay for – say $7.
I would push the angle that instead of just providing a ton of value via emails and launching a big product for $97 or even $997, keep offering smaller products and grow your buyers list with this awesome new tool I’ve just made.
One niche source.
One idea.
One angle.
Done.
But still, that’s not enough.
Step 3: You must learn how to tell stories
Let me tell you a story…
How to get Russians to love Potatoes
What does this have to do about making websites profitable?
300 years ago, the common potato was so looked down upon in Russia that peasants wouldn’t even Grow You can’t even eat the vegetable. The potato was even given a name by religious groups. “Devil’s Apples”.
Rory Sutherland, in his famous TED He spoke at a conference and said that Russia wanted potatoes to become more popular because they wanted people wanting to start growing them. They did so by raising their perceived value.
They had a genius plan. They planted potatoes in gardens owned by the Crown Prince, and guards kept an eye on them all day.
Instructions were given for the guards Not To see them Too closely.
Anything that is royally protected, of course. Must be valuable.
Peasants began to steal the potatoes and grow them on their land. They soon realized that they could grow three times more potatoes on a single plot of land than they could grain.
Among other things, the Russian potato production boom saved millions of lives during the Soviet Era’s worst famines.
They increased the perceived value of their product and promoted it to the masses.
Let me show how you can do the same for your email list. Introduce micropayments in each third follow-up email.
…
…
Did you see that?
Did you know that you noticed a change in your reading habits when you started to read the story? got into it You forgot about selling and being pitched to.
It’s not some random paranormal thing that I’ve just done to you. You’re simply reacting to the idea of a story based on millions of years of evolution and storytelling around campfires.
Science has shown that stories are powerful. After all, we’ve been using them for 27,000 years since the first cave paintings were discovered as a Primary form of communication.
This week Buffer.com – the service which allows you to ‘time’ your social media updates – announced that They have now reached $500,000 in monthly revenues.
And do you know what’s interesting about their sales process?
They didn’t focus on product benefits.
They didn’t focus on service bullet-points.
Instead, says co-founder Leo Widrich, He told stories.
My link building service is sold by me telling the story of Michael Dell, who introduced Lithium Ion batteries to the world with style. He flew from New York to Los Angeles and showed the world that the laptop was still powered when he landed.
The message was, “people can figure out difficult challenges; we’ve figured out a complex Google algorithm”.
I used to tell stories about people who could use language learning products. “spy” They would not be able to talk about their victims and them, if they hadn’t learned their language.
Potential customers loved the idea of potential customers not knowing that you had this new ability.
If you’re not using stories in selling – no matter what you offer – then change that now.
Step 4: Create a well-optimized funnel
Want to know more about the funnel I made that completely failed?
It was a huge project that cost thousands of dollars, took me more than a month to complete, and then I had to stop working on it for two weeks.
It was for a course on how I build a marketing company and get clients (which accounts for a large part of our revenue).
I paid approximately $4,000 You can use one of those animated explainer video that everyone claims converts well. It looked great, and it did convert…
…but only at getting people to watch the first video.
This first video was viewed by more than 5,000 people, which led to the creation of another video.
By the time people got to the last video – video 7 – only 2,000 had made it through the funnel.
Every video has a certain percentage of people who are not watching it.
Even though we managed to get over 2,000 people watching a 2 hour-long educational series about building an online marketing agency, only a few people purchased it.
Why?
First of all, there was not urgency.
They were able to watch the videos in their own time and realized that they could. Therefore, they assumed that our sales page would continue to be up forever or that the price of the product would not change.
Second, people started to doubt that they could implement what I was saying.
The videos may have been written in a way that is easy to understand, but the content was the same as a webinar I did which attracted a lot of people.
On the webinar I was able to reassure people that beginners could do this – which they could. With people watching in their own time, I couldn’t do that.
This angle is why webinars sell it better than any other thing I can do.
It’s important you take the time to figure out which idea will sell your product – which funnel works best – to get the maximum conversion rate out of your website visitors.
It could be viewed as if I spent a lot of money and time.
I see it as having learned another way which doesn’t work, putting me on the path closer to something that does.
Step #5 – You must stay with it in order to achieve your goals “overnight success”
Overnight success is obviously the dream, but it’s not a reality.
In this article’s headline, I mention building profitable sites. Four weeks.
That’s generally the timeline we give ourselves to see if a new project has potential.
If we’re struggling, not enjoying the process, or things weren’t as they seemed when we got into the niche, we’ll leave the site.
But if in those four weeks we see potential (such as email subscribers, Facebook likes, Google traffic, and so on) then we’ll stick to it.
If I believed in this process of blogging page monetisation, the worst thing that I could do would be to quit at the first hurdle.
If someone rejects me for an interview or doesn’t want to give my microtransactions software a try – even for free – then I’ll just move on to the next person.
Don’t just take my word for it though. Let me show you an example of how this step is done.
He asked me for my assistance five years ago. This year he’s on track to generate £1m in advertising revenue
In 2010, I received an e-mail from Adnan Ebrahim (a 20 year-old Londoner)
He was talking to me about Car Throttle which he was starting to get press.
At the time it was getting around 45,000 pageviews per month but he wasn’t sure how to take things to the next level. (No credit here, I had no advice since I didn’t know a thing about the car space online).
Car Throttle now has more than 1.2 Million Facebook fans.
Car Memes, which is also his, has 1.4 Million.
He reached 1,000,000 pageviews in one day last month for the first-ever time, setting records. Traffic records were again broken the next day.
In January of this year BBC.co.uk wrote an article about his success and showed the site was on track to generate £1m in revenue in 2015.
He said that he believed success was due to his work ethic.
“I still think we’re a small player“.
He hasn’t lost any of the drive he had from the years running the site when he was looking at just £1,000 in annual revenue.
He moves to greater goals as his business grows. Stay with it So he can achieve them.
Step 6: You have to be viewed as an authority
Many people feel scared when they hear or read that.
They automatically assume they can never be an expert or authority on anything because they just don’t have the experience.
Well, here’s a little secret.
You don’t have to be the top expert in the world on your topic (there’s only one spot for that, after all), you just have to know more than the average person.
You can become an “idea machine” and you’ll never have to worry about generating revenue again
This is what James Altucher and his wife wrote in the introduction to their latest book, Become an Idea Machine.
“People say execution is everything, that is ALSO NOT true. Execution can be a subset or all of the ideas.
If you have a brilliant idea and you feel motivated, it is time to move on. Execution takes place automatically.”
This is so true.
You stumble upon the perfect thing. Right You won’t need to search for motivational tips or inspiration to get started.
You’ll be doing it before you even know it.
I’ve received so many emails from people following this niche ideas series who say things like,
“I purchased two domains before I even finished reading the article”
“I read your article on the in a box idea yesterday and my website is set-up and ready to go”.
They didn’t have the idea then go and read some motivational quote online to get going.
The idea was what fueled the action.
James and Claudia emphasize the importance of exercise. “idea muscle” It is important to think of new industries and services in order to have great ideas.
I quickly realised that with having so many marketing clients and working on so many different websites, I’ve been exercising this ‘muscle’ For many years.
This could explain why I find it so easy to think of ideas now more than ever before.
James expands on this idea.
“IDEAS ARE THE CURRENCY OF LIFE. Not money. Money gets depleted until you go broke. But good ideas buy you good experiences, buy you better ideas, buy you better experiences, buy you more time, save your life. Financial wealth is a side effect of the “runner’s high” Your idea muscle.”
If you’re looking for ideas to help kickstart your own thought process, Diggy and I would love to be the ones to help you.
