The Mysterious Art Of Wudang TaijiYang, which is fundamentally a Yang-Style form Beautiful Wudang Mountain is the largest Daoist centre in the world. It dates back to 2,000 years and covers 321 kilometers. There are 72 peaks, numerous architectural masterpieces, and a forest that still supports over 600 medicinal herbs. Daoism is an ancient Chinese philosophy which teaches its practitioners how to live a tranquil, refined life in harmony and with nature. Taijiquan (or ‘Grand Ultimate Fist”) combines the inner skills of yang Sheng (life-nourishing) and ancient fighting techniques. Taijiquan is slow and gentle.
