This course will cover managerial accounting topics. We will compare financial accounting with managerial accounting in order to ensure that we have the right mindset for moving forward.
We’ll discuss flexible budgets. We will discuss examples of budget problems and show step-by-step videos on how to apply them.
This course will help you to define and analyze standard costs as well as cost variation analysis. We will also provide an overview of cost analysis concepts that we will be discussing in detail in later sections.
We will discuss sales variance analysis and explain when it can be used. Also, we will show you how to calculate sales variations. So that you can use what you learn, we will show you how to solve them.
This course will teach you how to do direct materials variance analysis. It will explain what it is and how it works. The course will be demonstrated using instructional videos, using examples and step-by-step instructional videos to solve them.
We will talk about direct labor variance analysis. The concepts will be demonstrated with instructional videos. We will also provide examples and step-by-step videos to help you complete them.
Overhead variance analysis will be covered in the course. We will explain why and how to calculate overhead variation analysis. Demonstrations and examples will be shown, along with video tutorials that show how to solve them.
A comprehensive problem on overhead variance will be included, as well as a comprehensive one on variance analysis. We will be provided with pre-formatted Excel sheets that we can fill out and step by step videos to help us. You will find two to three tabs in the Excel worksheets. The first tab contains the complete problem. The second tab has a preformatted Excel spreadsheet that you can use to work through the problem step-by-step with instructional videos. The third tab contains a blank sheet that allows us to make our own Excel worksheet.
