Website description
FX trading can help you create a realistic risk management model. 101.  Your success in forex risk management is dependent on it.  The video below explains how to calculate position size using key risk modeling variables.  Obviously your winning percentage and losing percentages are pivotal to any trading system, but even systems with low winning percentages can be very profitable when you consider the size  of your average winners and losers.  While everyone loves big winners it’s important to take into account the frequency of those winners.  A system that has a high winning percentage is great, but it might not be very profitable if the trade frequency is so low itâs difficult to obtain a decent return.  There are many combinations of risk variables that can be used to create a trading risk model.  The most important thing is to ensure that your risk modeling is suitable for your trading goals.
Many  traders attempt to adjust themselves to the risk model of the system that they are trading.  This is similar to telling a tiger how to be a vegetarian.  It is against your nature.  It is important to reverse engineer the process in order to create a forex risk-management system.  Your risk profile should be the basis of your system, not vice versa.  Some people don’t mind small losers waiting for the home run trade. Others may find it too much.  You’d rather take one bite at a while and enjoy the little wins. As with all things worth doing well, Forex Risk management is an ongoing process. This guide will help you understand the basics of risk management.  This will enable you to learn more about your trading as well as yourself.
